Within the field of Expressive Arts, therapist do not act as teachers or judges to your work but rather witnesses to your process. That said, we encourage stick figures, scribble, masterpieces, and getting messy. Similarly, in meditation, the mind is not expected to go blank, but rather to relax into a state of clarity as best as it is able within the moment.
