Dennis Simsek here, the host of The Anxiety Guy podcast and popular YouTube channel. The Anxiety Guy Podcast is a top ranked self-help show where I share my knowledge and experience on the causes of anxiety, as well as the best options for people going through these life challenges. The podcast was awarded Best Of iTunes in the health category because of my passionate commitment to help guide people from a life of coping with the daily challenges they face, to defying their fears once and for all.
Why I chose to become a hypnotherapist, spiritual development, CBT and NLP Coach rather than therapist/counselor: I realized that anxiety coaching was a very intimate partnership between the coach and individual which was mainly focused on the journey of someone’s life direction.
Anxiety coaching is a holistic/action based approach, it’s not talk therapy. I preferred this method because in my eyes it produced results much faster than anything I’ve ever encountered in my own recovery. In my anxiety recovery programs we use a host of proven modalities in a simple to apply way so that anxiety recovery can be as linear as possible.
“Life Coaching is Certainly Not Clinical Counseling. It’s An Outcome Focused Approach That Inspires And Mentors People Towards Amazing Results.” – Dennis Simsek

Our community understands what life is like battling mental health challenges and are here to support you through it. At our core, we believe in human connection and the growth and healing that happens when people come together with the intention to support each other. Join a network of people who are overcoming life's challenges together, because you don't have to do it alone.
Peer support is for anyone seeking validation, understanding, or simply looking for a safe group of people to share their story. It’s an opportunity to talk about your experiences, share skills and coping methods, express emotions and build relationships with people who understand you. Our members say their support groups feel like an understanding family.
ShareWell peer support sessions are virtual meetings with a group of 3-16 people who meet to support each other in overcoming mental health issues or through big life transitions. Sessions are led by a peer host who shares your life experience.
Wilderwood’s assessments are built on a specialization and research interest in autism in women. The assessments are the foundation of a diagnostic trial for the WRADIANCE© assessment, a clinical tool being developed to better assess for clinically significant diagnostic components of autism in women. The foundation for the development of the WRADIANCE© is that autistic women can present very differently from the stereotypes about “autism” that are mired in a medical model drawn on observations of boys and men.
The assessments are integral to our research and development of a new assessment instrument. While in the initial stages of research we did include assessment of males, we are no longer assessing males as part of our research, though we are still assessing transgender people (AFAB/AMAB). Please know that this is not a clinic, we do not see patients, we do not establish any therapeutic relationship, and we do not assess for any other condition than autism. We do not assess anyone under the age of 18. We may also need to decline to assess a participant who does not meet the research criteria, depending on the stage and status of the research.
Multiple assessment instruments are included as part of the research protocol. Other assessment instruments used alongside the Reflective Assessment include:
Grief.com is dedicated to help everyone deal with the often unknown terrain that comes along with all kinds of grief. Through education, information and other helpful resources we hope to make the challenging road of grief a little easier.
In this groundbreaking new work, David Kessler—an expert on grief and the coauthor with Elisabeth Kübler-Ross of the iconic On Grief and Grieving—journeys beyond the classic five stages to discover a sixth stage: meaning.
In this book, Kessler gives readers a roadmap to remembering those who have died with more love than pain; he shows us how to move forward in a way that honors our loved ones. Kessler’s insight is both professional and intensely personal. His journey with grief began when, as a child, he witnessed a mass shooting at the same time his mother was dying. For most of his life, Kessler taught physicians, nurses, counselors, police, and first responders about end of life, trauma, and grief, as well as leading talks and retreats for those experiencing grief. Despite his knowledge, his life was upended by the sudden death of his twenty-one-year-old son.
How does the grief expert handle such a tragic loss? He knew he had to find a way through this unexpected, devastating loss, a way that would honor his son. That, ultimately, was the sixth state of grief—meaning. In Finding Meaning, Kessler shares the insights, collective wisdom, and powerful tools that will help those experiencing loss.
